Pembroke Pines Country Club , previously named Plausawa Valley Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Pembroke, New Hampshire.
The course opened in 1963. The course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish.
Pembroke is a challenging course with the front and back nine holes having different characteristics.
The front nine is a relatively flat, links style course with wide open fairways. The apparent ease of the holes can be deceptive.
The back nine is totally opposite, is cut through the trees with rolling terrain and undulating greens.
Either sand bunkers, water hazards or a combination of both come into play on thirteen holes.
The course plays to a distance of 6,572 yards from the back tees, 6,162 yards from the middle tees, and 5,419 yards from the red tees.

Plausawa Valley is a good course. The course was in very nice condition for this time of season. The bunkers could be have been raked better. Beautiful setting for a golf course.
